Your first session is about getting to know each other and
understanding your goals. We'll discuss your current concerns,
mental health history, and what brought you to therapy. This
initial assessment helps create a personalized treatment plan.
The session is confidential, non-judgmental, and designed to
make you feel comfortable and heard.
Yes, we offer secure telehealth sessions for your convenience.
Online therapy provides the same quality care as in-person
sessions and is ideal for those with busy schedules,
transportation challenges, or who prefer the comfort of their
own space. All telehealth sessions use HIPAA-compliant platforms
to ensure your privacy.
The length of therapy varies depending on your individual needs
and goals. Some people benefit from short-term therapy (6-12
sessions) for specific issues, while others prefer longer-term
support. We'll regularly review your progress and adjust our
approach as needed. You're always in control of your treatment
duration.
Absolutely. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of therapy. What
you share in session stays between us, with very limited
exceptions required by law (such as imminent danger to self or
others, or suspected child/elder abuse). We'll discuss
confidentiality limits during your first session so you feel
completely informed and secure.
We understand that life happens. Please provide at least 24
hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid any
cancellation fees. You can contact us by phone or through our
patient portal. We'll work with you to find a new appointment
time that fits your schedule.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I do not prescribe
medication. I can provide referrals to trusted medical
professionals and coordinate care to ensure you receive
comprehensive treatment.
Therapy can benefit anyone looking to improve their mental
health, develop coping skills, work through challenges, or
enhance their overall well-being. If you're feeling overwhelmed,
stuck, or simply want personal growth, therapy might be helpful.
We offer a free 15-minute consultation to discuss your needs and
